Two men arrested after fight over Netflix account escalates to gunfire

SAN ANTONIO — Two 19-year-old men are in custody after a dispute over a Netflix account escalated into violence and gunfire, authorities said.

According to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Brian Travis Reynolds and Anthony Constante were arrested this week following a confrontation outside a home on Calle Briseno.

Investigators said the incident began on September 23 when Reynolds allegedly changed the name on 20-year-old Vincent Munoz’s Netflix account to an insult. Feeling disrespected, Munoz reportedly agreed to fight Reynolds and Constante.

When the pair arrived, deputies said they jumped a fence to reach Munoz. Reynolds was carrying a handgun in his waistband and allegedly passed it to Constante during the fight. Video evidence reportedly shows Constante striking Munoz repeatedly while holding the weapon.

The struggle continued as the gun was handed back to Reynolds. A shot was fired, and Munoz was left bleeding from the head. Authorities said it remains unclear whether he was struck by a bullet or injured in another way.

Deputies later discovered the firearm had been illegally modified with a “switch” device, converting it into a fully automatic weapon.

Both Reynolds and Constante were arrested in connection with the incident.
