We’ve Let It Slide Long Enough — No More
We’ve always welcomed feedback, discussion, and even the occasional bit of snark — it’s part of what makes this community fun and engaging. That said, there’s a difference between playful commentary and a pattern of disrespectful behavior.
One commenter in particular has developed a long-standing habit of calling out when stories have become posted a second time, which happens. While we’ve let that go for years, it’s become increasingly clear that these remarks are no longer being made in good faith — especially as they’re now being used to take jabs at the authors themselves.
Let’s be clear: no one is under the illusion that every story is brand new. Reposts happen, especially when people are sharing favorites or trying to involve new readers. But repeatedly weaponizing that to belittle the people who contribute here — the same people who make this space enjoyable in the first place — crosses a line.
Recently, those comments have gone from mildly snarky to outright hostile. That behavior is no longer acceptable. This is the final warning: if it happens again, the comment(s) will be removed.
This community exists because of the authors and contributors who take the time to post content for everyone to enjoy. If you’re here to be part of that, great — we’re glad to have you. But if you’re here just to tear it down, we suggest rethinking how you participate. Or find the exit.
