Man Gets Head Stuck in Traffic Light After Crashing into It

A man in Chengdu, China, has gone viral after a bizarre accident left him with his head stuck inside a traffic light for nearly an hour.

The incident occurred when the man, riding an electric scooter, collided with a temporary traffic signal. The crash somehow resulted in his head becoming wedged inside the metal structure of the light, prompting emergency services to respond.

Firefighters worked for about 40 minutes to carefully dismantle the casing and free the man without causing further injury. He was later taken to a hospital, where he was treated and fully recovered.

While the physical recovery was swift, escaping the internet’s reaction has proven more difficult. Social media users quickly turned the incident into a source of humor, with one commenter joking, “A head-on collision, but with only light damage.” Others compared the man to superheroes, like the Green Lantern, or called the accident “rarer than winning the lottery.”
