Serial butt-sniffer at it again, despite being charged and held on $100K bail just 1 month ago
Calese Crowder, 38, has been arrested once again following a report of alleged inappropriate conduct at a Walgreens in Burbank, California. Crowder is facing a felony charge and is currently being held without bail, according to a report from ABC7.
Authorities say Crowder was on parole at the time of his latest arrest, and he has a documented history of arrests for lewd behavior dating back to 2021.

In mid-July, Crowder was taken into custody after being reported for suspicious behavior at a Nordstrom Rack in Burbank, where he was allegedly loitering in the women’s department. Police later located him at a nearby Walmart, where they say he was observed following a female customer and engaging in inappropriate conduct.

“While in the women’s section, the suspect was observed following a female customer, crouching near her, and engaging in lewd behavior by inappropriately sniffing her buttocks,” Burbank police said in a statement. Officers detained him at the scene for further investigation. He was held on $100,000 bail following that incident, though it is unclear why he was subsequently released.
This is not the first time Crowder has drawn public attention. In August 2023, he was involved in a similar incident at a Barnes & Noble bookstore in Burbank, which was captured on video and widely circulated on TikTok. The video, posted by Michaela Witter, shows a man identified as Crowder crouching near her legs. When questioned, he claimed he was tying his shoes, but Witter said it appeared he was attempting to smell her from behind. She also alleged he had done the same to another woman in the store.
Crowder’s repeated arrests and the public nature of the allegations have sparked concern about the effectiveness of his prior releases and ongoing supervision.
