Mo. woman vanishes after telling kin she was being followed — and ‘unknown man’ then picking up her phone
A Missouri woman remains missing weeks after making a terrifying phone call to a relative saying she was being followed — with a strange man then picking up her phone when kin tried to reach her again.
Miranda Brown, 27, vanished July 21, with her loved ones last hearing from her that day during her phone call to one of them.
She had been going for a walk and chatting on the phone with a family member when she told them an “unknown man” was tailing her, the St. Louis Police Department said Friday.

Then Brown hung up.
When her family called her back, a man picked up the phone and told them they had the wrong number — and then hung up, too.
