My Husband Tells Me to Ignore My Sons’ Sickening Pranks. Absolutely Not.
I have two sons, one who is 7 and one who is 5. A month and a half ago, they began doing something disgusting: They will try and sneak up on each other and fart. Other times, they do it in each other’s vicinity. They think this is hilarious. If I hear it, all the better, as far as they are concerned. My husband tells me to just ignore it. I can’t. This behavior is utterly boorish and unacceptable. What can I do to put a stop to it? So far, no amount of time-outs or taking away screen time has broken them of this sickening habit.
