TNBD’s Saturday Night Music

It’s been a while since ya looked under that dusty blue tarp buried behind a mountain of stuff in the garage. And today’s just another dull one …. a good dig into that overly- congested garage sounds like a plan, it’s been a minute since ya last did.
The neighbors look out their door at that mess of junk scattered about on the driveway, wondering what you’re digging for….
Ya finally cleared a path and pulled away the tarp as dust hits the beams of sunlight beaming across the room….
And there she is… The Ol’ Harley!😲
👀 She looks good…. ready and able to deliver on what you’re pondering inside. So off you go in the truck to fill the gas can.⛽ Getting back you add a quarter of the tank then roll her out to the driveway and brush off the cobwebs in the shining sun as the neighbors look on every half 15 minutes or so.
After a half hour of kicks she finally fires up and after a few backfires and some love, you got her purring like a well fed lion .. and yes indeed! The radio still works great..
Ya let her idle while you put your stuff back in the garage as you kill the engine and go back in the house.
It’s time….
You call your old buddies who ride all the time and they’re shocked to hear you wanna do a cross country with many stops along the way!
And like back in the day they still down to ride! Ya close up the house, grab the bank card & wallet, put the rest of the gas in the tank and pull your helmet out’ve the box by the tool bench and ride off down the street as the neighbors close their doors.
Everyone meets at Zeke’s house for the final equipment check list and everything checks out perfectly. Especially everyone’s radios, we are ready to ride…………..😁💨

The trip is on tonight, and it’s about getting out, it’s about places, cities, towns, roads, mountains etc.., it’s about people you’ve met along the way in life, it’s about memories with your buds and with family, and it’s all ’bout that musical vibe as the great wide yonder and open skies beacons us to ride !!
……….So fire up that monster, we got miles ahead big daddio! ✌😎🎸
