Goodbye steak, hello beans!

Consumers are changing their shopping and dining habits to cut down on spending, researchers say.

That’s a pattern playing out in kitchens and on grocery lists across the country. According to a poll conducted by Ipsos, 47 per cent of meat eaters polled said they planned to cut back on their meat consumption this year, with cost the most common reason for doing so.
