Memorial Day POLL
A new Rasmussen Reports poll revealed that barely half of people consider Memorial Day one of our country’s most important holidays. The survey was conducted by phone and online questionnaires and showed that 51% of the respondents felt this way about the significance of Memorial Day. It is information that should make everyone disappointed.
Memorial Day is the day set aside to honor the brave souls who served in the military and gave this country the greatest sacrifice so that we could live ours. The reason such surveys can exist in the first place, the reason that 49% of the country is even allowed not to consider Memorial Day important, and the reason we even have a Memorial Day holiday, is solely because of their valor.
