A message from grandmother5

I really don’t have a story, but I do have a bitch comment to make. I’m a label reader. I want to know where the product is produced/mfg. I was just looking at Tyson Chicken (thought it would be a change for dinner). It hit me that I haven’t been checking where the food is produced. It’s not on Tyson package. My questions are. Where does Tyson chicken come from? Didn’t one of their chicken plants burn several months back? Are chickens still being processed in China? Has the government taken off “Product of” on our food? Bar Codes could tell where the food came from. But are the bar codes true? If food is just repkg. in USA would that all any food company would need? I could kick my @$$ for not reading the labels before buying. If “Product of” is not on the label, how can we really trust our inspectors. Of course, they could lie on the label. Who would know. Money talks and BS walks. I hope this is posted and I hope there are some answers out there. Rant over for now.
