Saturday Night Music [Breakups Edition]

On August 5th 1980 one of the most profound endings to a mega-group sadly occurred.. thus turning the entire music industry on it’s side. And even to this day the industry hasn’t fully recovered from the disillusion that these musical titans having parted ways, stranding millions of fans lost without their beloved musical group. 

After 20 years together  The Osmonds called it quits after a great run bringing great songs and dance routines to both TV and live audiences.

This edition isn’t about The Osmonds, I’m just leading y’all on to what’s really poppin’ tonight! 😄

This Edition is actually about the bygone musical acts that were phenomenal in their beginnings & peak eras but decided for one reason or another to break it off and go solo, or create new bands…

Throughout musical history there’s a long list of musicians that have parted ways with their initial bands because of musical/personal differences, tragedies, financial reasons, decline in fame, drama crap, and the list goes on and on. 

So what we’re diving into tonight is musical breakups…..

So let’s see what y’all have for us since there’s so much about this topic that I don’t know and I’d love to see what’cha got to share with us.
