At UFC Freedom 250, heavyweight fighter Josh Hokit had a few words that have caught the ire of people across social media.

After winning his match at the White House he declared, “Michelle Obama is a man.”

Hokit won against Derrick Lewis on Sunday, knocking him out in the second round of their fight.

In his post-fight interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, Hokit, who is known for playing a heel, went off script.

“Hey, shout out to Trump for having the balls to put on some s*** like this,” Hokit said while in the Octagon with Rogan. Hokit then praised God before making a crude remark about the mother of Alex Pereira, the Brazilian heavyweight who lost his fight later that evening.

He concluded with, “And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?”

Rogan did not address Hokit’s remark, saying, “Ladies and gentlemen, Josh Hokit,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

UFC CEO Dana White told TIME in a text regarding Hokit’s comments, “I understand that the Obama’s [sic] are public figures but I’m completely against saying nasty and false things about people’s families. Everyone knows my position on free speech but I hate that kind of nonsense.”

The White House didn’t immediately respond to TIME’s request for comment.

Hokit gifted President Trump, whose 80th birthday was on Sunday, his chain.

The White House posted pictures of the moment, with the caption, “New bling.”

White has publicly said that he is not a fan of Hokit’s act. Hokit was originally not slated to fight at the White House. However, after Trump asked White at UFC 327 in April in Miami why Lewis was not set to compete in Washington, D.C., the UFC CEO added him. White matched Hokit up with Lewis after the former beat Curtis Blaydes in a wild bout in Miami, setting aside his concerns about Hokit’s behavior.
