Creepy Arizona deputy allegedly tried to force ‘hot MILF’ detainee into having sex before his kidnapping bust
An Arizona sheriff’s deputy is facing serious criminal charges after authorities say he behaved in a sexually inappropriate and coercive manner toward a woman he was transporting to jail.
Travis Reynolds, a 22-year-old deputy with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, was arrested after investigators accused him of attempting to exploit a detainee during a transport on March 19. According to arrest documents, Reynolds allegedly began making sexually explicit comments about the woman’s appearance while she was handcuffed in the back of his patrol vehicle.
Investigators say the deputy called the woman “hot” and used other sexually suggestive language while driving her to the jail. During the transport, Reynolds allegedly shared a vape pen with the detainee and suggested the two could go to a hotel to have sex, telling her he could potentially “help” with her legal situation.
The complaint also states that Reynolds showed the woman pornographic videos on his phone involving a man and a woman having sex. The detainee reportedly believed Reynolds himself appeared in the footage. Authorities say he then asked the woman to perform oral sex on him.

The woman, whose identity has not been made public, later told investigators that the situation made her feel “terrible and awful.” She said she repeatedly asked Reynolds to take her inside the jail so she would not have to remain alone with him in the patrol car.
According to the criminal complaint, Reynolds ignored her requests and kept her in the cruiser for more than two hours. The woman told investigators that he eventually brought her into the jail only after she complied with his demand to expose her breasts.
Surveillance video from the facility confirmed that the detainee remained inside the patrol vehicle for an extended period before she was taken inside.
When questioned by the Tucson Police Department, Reynolds reportedly said he “may or may not” have shown sexually explicit content to the woman and acknowledged that the topic of meeting at a hotel for sex had come up. He claimed, however, that it was the detainee who initially raised the idea.
Police arrested Reynolds on March 26 and charged him with one count of kidnapping.

During his initial court appearance, prosecutors described the accusations as “very, very concerning,” noting the clear imbalance of power between a law enforcement officer and a person in custody. Prosecutors also indicated investigators are looking into whether Reynolds may have engaged in similar conduct previously.
A judge set Reynolds’ bond at $200,000 and ordered that he have no contact with the woman involved in the case. He is scheduled to return to court on April 6.
In court, a prosecutor stated that the victim is “very afraid” of Reynolds, citing both his authority as a deputy and concerns that he could retaliate against her.
A spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that Reynolds was terminated following his arrest after the Tucson Police Department notified the agency of the charges.
“The Tucson Police Department notified the Pima County Sheriff’s Department of the arrest, and the employee was terminated,” the department said in a statement. “We don’t have any additional information to provide.”
