The incident occurred earlier this week during the preliminary round in Bangkok. Despite the sudden problem, Chanago handled it with remarkable composure, briefly turning away from the audience to adjust her teeth before continuing her introduction. Her calm reaction drew applause from those watching.
A spokesperson for Miss Grand International commented on the situation, telling People Magazine, “During her on-stage introduction, Kamolwan Chanago experienced a minor and unexpected incident in which her veneer teeth became dislodged. She handled the situation with professionalism and composure, and the event continued smoothly without disruption. We are proud of her confidence and stage presence throughout the competition.”

This year’s Miss Grand Thailand pageant features 77 contestants competing for the title of Miss Grand Thailand 2026. The winner will go on to represent Thailand at the Miss Grand International 2026 pageant, scheduled to take place in India this October.
The Miss Grand Thailand finale is set for March 28 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok.
