She appeared to live an extraordinary life. She walked beside President Donald Trump, posed for selfies with Vladimir Putin, met First Lady Melania Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and was even shown guarding a captured Nicolás Maduro. Her social media posts attracted more than a million followers and tens of thousands of likes.

There was only one problem: she was not real.

The Mystery of Jessica Foster

Images circulating online showed a blonde woman named Jessica Foster who appeared to be a U.S. Army soldier devoted to the “America First” agenda. In the photos and videos, she was depicted giving speeches, walking on a warship in the Strait of Hormuz in high heels, spending time with fellow female soldiers, and appearing alongside some of the world’s most recognizable political figures.

The account quickly gained attention on social media. Within four months, it had attracted more than one million followers, many of them supporters of the MAGA (Make America Great Again) movement. However, when reporters contacted the U.S. Army, officials said they had no record of any soldier named Jessica Foster.

Many people commenting on her photos praised her appearance and supported her patriotic message. According to reports, most of those comments came from accounts with men’s profile pictures. Some of her posts received more than 30,000 likes, with users responding enthusiastically despite growing signs that the account was not authentic.

Before the profile disappeared, it was reportedly linked to an OnlyFans account. The platform later confirmed that the account was removed because the creator had not been verified.

An Artificial Persona

Experts believe the images of Jessica Foster were generated using artificial intelligence. Several details raised suspicions, including inconsistent military uniforms, incorrect insignia, and unrealistic situations where she appeared alongside world leaders or at major international events.

After the original account was taken down, other profiles began appearing online using the same AI-generated images and recreating the character.

Jessica Foster is not the only example of this trend. Similar accounts featuring AI-generated women posing as soldiers, police officers, or patriotic influencers have gained large audiences on platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X. Thousands of users often interact with these profiles as if the people behind them are real.

The phenomenon is not limited to the United States. Reports have also found hundreds of AI-generated videos circulating online showing Iranian female soldiers and pilots praising their country’s military, even though women in Iran are not allowed to serve in combat roles.

Reaction Online

Former Illinois Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger commented on the situation in a post on X, writing that “Jessica Foster is clearly not a soldier in the U.S. Army.”

He added that the account having more than a million followers shows how easily people can be misled by convincing AI-generated content.
