Notice about missing comments
If you notice that comments on the site seem to be disappearing, it’s not just you. We’re currently seeing an issue with the Disqus commenting system where some comments are temporarily vanishing.
This problem started within the last half hour and appears to be related to Disqus rather than the site itself. We’re keeping an eye on it and will update you as soon as we know more.

UPDATE: It IS DISQUS. After you post a comment if you refresh or leave the story and come back ALL of the comments will be gone. DISQUS is aware of the issue. Your comments will return as soon as they fix it.
