FBI agents have visited a Tucson Mexican restaurant where Nancy Guthrie appeared on a “Today” show segment with her daughter Savannah just months before Nancy disappeared.

The 84-year-old grandmother joined Savannah on a nostalgic tour of her childhood city, stopping at several local landmarks, including the eatery.

According to NewsNation reporter Brian Entin, federal investigators questioned staff at the restaurant to see if anyone remembered noticing unusual or suspicious activity during the filming. The location was among multiple sites featured in the October segment that investigators have revisited while searching for Guthrie.

While Entin did not name the restaurant, El Charro Cafe, a historic downtown Tucson establishment, had previously posted footage of the filming. Chef Carlotta Flores told The Post that the Guthries had been longtime patrons.

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their family,” Flores said. “If you think about your grandmother, that’s exactly who Nancy is. She’s humble, proud, and wants only the best for her family. She has a daughter in the spotlight, but she’s still just a devoted mother.”+

The update comes as the search for Guthrie approaches six weeks with no new leads or suspects. She was reported missing after failing to attend church, and footage from her doorbell camera showed a masked man lingering outside her home the night authorities believe she was abducted.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, leading the investigation, told NBC News that officials believe they understand why Guthrie may have been targeted, though they are not completely certain. He also warned the public that the suspect could strike again.

“We believe it was targeted, but we can’t say for sure,” Nanos said. “People should remain alert. Just because it happened to the Guthries doesn’t mean anyone else is automatically safe. Stay vigilant.”

Efforts to reach El Charro Cafe early Friday were unsuccessful.
