Israel Bombs Tehran and Lebanon in New Round of Strikes (VIDEO)
Israel launched a new round of airstrikes on Iran’s capital, Tehran, on Sunday evening (Monday morning local time), intensifying the growing regional conflict.
The latest escalation followed the reported elimination of Iran’s Supreme Leader in a joint U.S.–Israeli operation over the weekend. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory actions, prompting Israel to conduct strikes on Tehran late Saturday.

“From here, the regime’s control over the city of Tehran was directed during the protests,” an Israeli intelligence official told Fox News. “During the protests, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards (whom we eliminated yesterday) came to this specific location and commanded the massacring of protesters.”

In a related development, Israel launched strikes on Beirut, Lebanon, early Monday morning local time after Hezbollah fired missiles across the border. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a strike against Israel on Sunday — its first acknowledged attack in more than a year.
According to the Associated Press, the Israeli military said it intercepted one projectile that crossed the border, while several others landed in open areas. No injuries or significant damage were reported.
Hezbollah said in a statement that its actions were in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader and for what it described as “repeated Israeli aggressions.”
