According to The Times of Israel, one missile impacted a road in the Jerusalem area after getting past Israel’s Iron Dome interception system. Emergency service Magen David Adom reported that three people were wounded in the strike.
The injured included a 46-year-old man who sustained moderate shrapnel wounds and two others who were lightly hurt. In addition, two individuals were treated for acute anxiety, according to the emergency response agency.
Videos shared on social media showed air defense missiles intercepting several incoming projectiles over Jerusalem. However, at least one ballistic missile evaded interception and struck the city, prompting alarm among nearby residents. In one video, a man can be heard shouting in shock moments after the impact.
