Two female students were arrested during a student walkout protest against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Enumclaw, Washington, on February 13, 2026, according to local authorities.

The protest began at Enumclaw High School late in the morning, when an estimated 100 to 150 students left campus and marched to Enumclaw City Hall, the Courier-Herald reported. Students carried signs and chanted slogans opposing ICE policies and supporting immigrants.

Independent journalist Vivian Ivy attended the demonstration and spoke with several participants about their reasons for joining the walkout. While many students described their concerns peacefully, video from the scene also showed moments of confrontation between some protesters and police.

According to footage shared by Ivy, objects were thrown and officers were surrounded as police attempted to detain one student. During the incident, one girl allegedly struck another person during a verbal dispute and was subsequently arrested after resisting officers. A second student was taken into custody after authorities said she interfered with that arrest.
