Who had it better? POLL

Back in our day, a “phone” was something you might find in a booth, and you were lucky if you even had a few coins to make a call. Cell phones? Forget it. We had to ask permission to take the return bottles just so we could scrape together enough change to buy candy. We walked everywhere—rain, snow, heat—none of this “Uber” nonsense. And we had to be in when the streetlights came on—no arguing. Today’s kids? They carry their parents’ credit cards, have top-of-the-line computers, PlayStations, and high-end Apple Watches… and still can’t tell time without checking their phone. If we wanted fun, it was quarters in a pinball machine or staring longingly at an Atari we could only dream of owning. Life was… simpler. And by simpler, we mean hilariously, ridiculously poor but happy.
