President Trump Walks Away As Shrill Reporters Ask Him to Apologize Over Meme (VIDEO)
President Trump spoke with reporters on the South Lawn on Friday evening before boarding Marine One for a trip to Palm Beach over Super Bowl weekend.
During the briefing, President Trump highlighted the stock market’s recent milestone, noting that the Dow Jones Industrial Average had reached 50,000. “The stock market, the Dow, just hit 50,000, three years ahead of schedule,” he said. “They said it probably couldn’t be done in the four-year period, we did it in one year.”
Reporters pressed the President on a video he had shared regarding alleged election fraud in Pennsylvania during the 2020 election. At the end of that video, an autoplay clip appeared that depicted former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama in a controversial animation. In the full video, Vice President Kamala Harris appeared as a turtle, President Joe Biden as a gorilla, and President Trump as a lion.
When asked if he would apologize for the video, President Trump declined to respond and walked away.
