Newly-Released Epstein Jail Video Logs Address Orange ‘Flash’ Moving Toward Epstein Jail Tier the Night He Died (VIDEO)

In July, a Department of Justice investigation into the surveillance video of Jeffrey Epstein’s death revealed several inconsistencies.

The Gateway Pundit first highlighted a missing minute in the footage that was released to the public. Now, a CBS News investigative report shows that forensic analysis of the DOJ’s 10-hour, 52-minute Epstein prison video uncovered multiple irregularities.

One key discrepancy centers on an event around 10:40 p.m. on the night Epstein died. The video appears to show a person wearing an orange shirt moving toward Epstein’s cell. Previously, the DOJ said this individual was a corrections officer carrying orange linens. Newly released video logs, however, suggest the orange figure could have been an inmate being escorted to that tier.

CBS News reported:

“Newly released Department of Justice documents show that investigators reviewing surveillance footage from the night of Jeffrey Epstein’s death observed an orange-colored shape moving up a staircase toward the isolated, locked tier where his cell was located at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2019. The observation log notes: ‘A flash of orange looks to be going up the L Tier stairs — could possibly be an inmate escorted up to that Tier.’”

FBI analysis notes detailing video footage of individuals walking through various tiers, highlighting a possible inmate escorted up the L Tier stairs.

Additionally, an FBI memorandum indicates that investigators reached different conclusions. While DOJ’s Office of Inspector General suggested one interpretation, the FBI described the unclear image as “possibly an inmate.”

Epstein, the 66-year-old financier and convicted sex offender, was found dead in his Manhattan prison cell on August 10, 2019, one week after a reported suicide attempt in July. The New York City medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging. According to reports, Epstein, who was six feet tall, secured a bedsheet to a bunk bed and wrapped it around his neck.
