Minneapolis dog kennel worker scribbles anti-ICE message on Border Patrol K-9’s feed chart

A worker at a Minneapolis dog kennel is under scrutiny after writing an anti–immigration enforcement message on the feeding chart of a U.S. Customs and Border Protection K-9.

The Department of Homeland Security highlighted the incident in a post on X Wednesday, sharing an image of the feed chart with the words “ICE OUT” written across the top. According to the agency, the dog involved is a CBP K-9 named Dina, a German Shepherd.

“In Minneapolis, anti-ICE agitators are targeting our CBP K-9s, including K-9 Dina, pictured here,” DHS wrote in the post. The kennel where the incident occurred was not identified.

The post sparked strong reactions online, with many users criticizing the act and calling it unprofessional. Some commenters urged accountability for the kennel, while others expressed concern about hostility being directed even toward law-enforcement animals.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions between immigration enforcement agencies and anti-ICE protesters in the Twin Cities area. Federal authorities say immigration operations in the region have led to thousands of arrests in recent weeks, involving individuals accused of serious crimes.
