Lunden Roberts, the mother of Hunter Biden’s daughter, has asked an Arkansas judge to jail him for allegedly failing to comply with a child support agreement.

Roberts shares a 6-year-old daughter, Navy Joan, with Hunter Biden. The child support case has been ongoing for several years, during which time President Joe Biden was criticized for not publicly acknowledging the child.

In 2023, Roberts agreed to reduce Hunter Biden’s child support obligation from approximately $20,000 per month to $5,000 per month. As part of that agreement, Hunter Biden was also expected to meet his daughter.

According to a court filing submitted Tuesday, Roberts claims Hunter Biden has failed to make the required $5,000 monthly payments and has still not met Navy Joan. She is asking the court to hold him in contempt and to order his incarceration until he complies with the court’s orders.

Roberts’ filing requests that Hunter Biden be detained in the Independence County Detention Center as a civil penalty until he fulfills his child support obligations and other requirements outlined in the agreement.

In the filing, Roberts also described the emotional impact on their daughter, who she says wants a relationship with her father. Using an alias for the child, Roberts wrote that Navy Joan believes her father is too busy and lives far away, and that she hopes to see him someday.
