Straight Talk From Florida Sheriff Grady Judd: ‘If You Violently Assault Police With a Two-Ton Weapon, Expect to be Shot’ (VIDEO)

As debate continues on the left over how to defend the actions of ICE protester Renee Nicole Good, Florida Sheriff Grady Judd delivered a blunt reminder to the public: if you deliberately aim a vehicle at a law enforcement officer and use it as a weapon, you should expect a deadly response.
Most people understand this instinctively. A car is not just transportation—it can become a lethal weapon in an instant. Yet events this week suggest that some people genuinely fail to grasp that reality.
Sheriff Judd didn’t limit his remarks to the incident itself. He also sharply criticized political leadership in Minnesota, singling out Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for what he described as a reckless and irresponsible reaction to the shooting.
🚨 HOLY CRAP. Florida Sheriff Grady Judd just went NUCLEAR on Tim Walz, Jacob Frey and the Left in Minneapolis
“If you VIOLENTLY assault [police] with two-ton weapons, EXPECT TO BE SHOT!”
DON’T MESS WITH FLORIDA SHERIFFS! ☀️🔥

According to Florida’s Voice, Judd forcefully defended the ICE agent involved in the Minneapolis incident, where an officer fired on a suspect who allegedly used an SUV as a “two-ton deadly weapon.” Video footage shows the vehicle backing up and then accelerating toward an agent who was attempting to remove the driver.
“What did the occupant expect?” Judd asked in a recorded statement. “You should expect to be shot when you commit a deadly assault on a law enforcement officer.”
Judd directed particular anger at Mayor Frey, calling the mayor’s public response “filthy, uninformed talk” and accusing local leadership of undermining law enforcement through careless rhetoric.
“Shame on you,” Judd said. “You have to be accountable for your conduct, and that starts with the mayor.”
The incident also brings to mind earlier protest tactics, including demonstrations following President Trump’s 2016 election victory, when activists in several cities blocked highways. In some cases, protesters were struck by vehicles, suffering life-altering injuries.
The reality is simple: in any confrontation between a human body and a moving vehicle, the vehicle wins. Law enforcement officers are trained to understand this threat clearly. What’s troubling is that some activists and political leaders still appear unwilling—or unable—to acknowledge it.
