MAGA Vs Liberal Woman Fight Breaks Out as January 6 Defendants Gather at Capitol – Leftist Ends Up in Cuffs (VIDEO)

Pardoned January 6 defendants and their supporters gathered in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday to mark the five-year anniversary of the January 6 Capitol protest.

More than 1,500 individuals connected to January 6 were charged under the Department of Justice during President Joe Biden’s administration, when Merrick Garland served as attorney general. Many of those charged were nonviolent, first-time offenders.

Critics of the prosecutions argue that Biden’s DOJ aggressively pursued nonviolent defendants, including elderly supporters of former President Trump, and subjected them to harsh pretrial detention conditions in Washington, D.C.

After being sworn into office last January, President Trump issued blanket clemency to all January 6 defendants. On Tuesday, those who were pardoned marched toward the Capitol waving American flags.

Demonstrators carried signs reading “J6 was an inside job,” “Thanks for our pardons, Trump,” and “Arrest Pelosi.”

Former Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio led a memorial march honoring Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd during the January 6 protest. Babbitt was unarmed at the time of the shooting.

Tensions escalated when Patricia Eguino, a left-wing activist known for confronting Ashli Babbitt’s mother in the past, arrived at the demonstration with a bullhorn and began shouting at participants. A physical altercation broke out between Eguino and a female demonstrator.

Video from the scene showed demonstrators shouting at Eguino as the confrontation unfolded. The incident ended with Eguino being taken into custody by police, drawing cheers from the crowd.

It remains unclear whether any charges were filed following the incident.
