Feeding wildlife POLL
Feeding wildlife remains a debated issue in many communities, as residents raise concerns about animals becoming overly dependent on people for food. Reports often include increased numbers of raccoons and deer, aggressive behavior, damage to vegetation and property, and higher risks of disease spread and vehicle collisions. While some people intentionally feed wildlife, others do so unintentionally by leaving pet food outdoors, unsecured garbage, fallen fruit, or accessible compost. As a result, many municipalities are considering or enforcing bylaws that restrict wildlife feeding in an effort to protect both animals and public safety.
