The FBI says Mexican authorities have uncovered what amounts to a dream garage for an international drug trafficker: a massive collection of high-end motorcycles valued at roughly $40 million.

U.S. officials announced Monday that the bikes were seized in Mexico and are believed to be linked to Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder now accused of leading a major cocaine trafficking operation, according to CBS News. Photos released by the FBI’s Los Angeles field office show long rows of luxury motorcycles, many of them Ducatis covered in racing-style sponsor decals.

Wedding, 44, represented Canada in snowboarding at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. His athletic career later gave way to criminal trouble, including a 2009 conviction for conspiracy to distribute cocaine. He was released from prison in late 2010.

Federal prosecutors now allege that Wedding went on to build a large trafficking network that moved hundreds of kilograms of cocaine from Colombia, through Mexico and Southern California, and into Canada and other parts of the United States. He was indicted on multiple drug charges in October 2024 and remains a fugitive. Authorities believe he is currently in Mexico.

The FBI has placed Wedding on its Ten Most Wanted list, likening his alleged role to that of notorious drug kingpins such as Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and Pablo Escobar. A reward of up to $15 million is being offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction.

Investigators warn that Wedding should be considered armed and dangerous. In addition to drug trafficking charges, he is accused of ordering multiple killings, including the January murder of a federal witness. Anyone with information is urged to contact the FBI through WhatsApp, Signal, or Telegram at 424-495-0614, reach out to a local FBI office or U.S. Embassy, or submit tips at tips.fbi.gov.

Authorities also say an attorney connected to Wedding is facing legal trouble, according to the Associated Press.
