President Trump spoke Friday morning about U.S. airstrikes targeting suspected ISIS militants in northwestern Nigeria during an interview with WABC radio host John Catsimatidis.

Trump said the strikes were carried out on Christmas Day, describing them as a deliberate response to ISIS activity in the region. He said the group was hit in multiple locations and characterized the operation as a significant blow against the militants.
