First Lady Melania Trump is stepping into the spotlight with the first teaser for a highly anticipated documentary, which dropped Wednesday. Titled Melania, the film is directed by Rush Hour creator Brett Ratner and licensed by Amazon in a $40 million deal signed earlier this year. The documentary follows the Slovenia-born model during the 20 days leading up to her husband Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.
The trailer debuted on Fox & Friends, opening with Melania preparing to enter the U.S. Capitol Rotunda for the swearing-in ceremony. Wearing a navy Adam Lippes ensemble, she turns toward the camera and says, “Here we go again.”

The preview moves between Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla.; Trump Tower in Manhattan; and transition team headquarters in Washington, D.C. It offers glimpses of Melania’s preparation, including the creation of her strapless inaugural ball gown and the photoshoot for her striking black-and-white official portrait.

In one moment, she listens as President Trump rehearses a speech: “My proudest legacy will be that of peacemaker,” he says. “Peacemaker and unifier,” Melania adds. The trailer concludes with a phone call between the Trumps, where Melania greets her husband, saying: “Hi, Mr. President, congratulations.” “Did you watch it?” the president asks. “I did not. Yeah, I will see it on the news,” she replies.
Melania will be released exclusively in theaters on January 30.
