Bandits trapped toting huge Disney doll at scene of break-in
Police in San Bernardino County, California, arrested two suspects known as the “Mickey Bandits” after officers spotted them leaving a break-in at a dental clinic early Thursday morning—their third alleged burglary of the day, according to the Upland Police Department.
Surveillance video captured the male suspect walking out of the clinic with a Mickey Mouse plush toy in hand. Officers quickly located the pair’s vehicle, and after a moment of hesitation, the man and woman pulled over and surrendered, police said in a Facebook statement.

Inside the car, authorities found burglary tools, gloves, drug paraphernalia, a hoodie seen in footage from the break-in, and a number of stolen items—including the Mickey Mouse doll.

Investigators say the duo had also carried out two earlier burglaries in neighboring Claremont before the clinic break-in. The woman was already on probation in Los Angeles County for a previous burglary charge. Both suspects were taken into custody on commercial burglary charges along with several additional offenses, police reported.
