President Trump Roasts Kamala Harris at McDonald’s Impact Summit with Hilarious Joke About His Time as a McDonald’s Fry Cook (VIDEO)
President Trump addressed the annual McDonald’s Impact Summit in Washington, DC, Monday evening, entertaining franchise owners and executives with a mix of campaign-style humor and economic commentary.
During his remarks, Trump took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, reviving a joke from the final weeks of the 2024 presidential campaign. In October 2024, Trump donned a McDonald’s apron to serve fries at a drive-thru in Trevose, Pennsylvania, quipping about his brief stint as a fry cook.
A source at McDonald’s corporate tells me they have no record of a Kamala Harris ever working for them around the time and place she claims.

“Hello, everybody. It’s my first day at McDonald’s! I’m looking for a job!” Trump recalled saying at the time. “I’ve now worked 15 minutes more than Kamala at McDonald’s,” he added, poking fun at Harris’s claims about her own time at the restaurant during college.
Despite campaign claims, there is no record of Harris ever working at McDonald’s in Alameda, California. Trump used the moment on Monday to deliver a playful jab.
“I’m honored to stand before you as the very first former McDonald’s fry cook ever to become President of the United States,” he said to applause. “And I actually was there for about 30 minutes, and that was 30 minutes longer than Kamala was there, despite her job at McDonald’s. That didn’t work out too well.”
Trump also highlighted his administration’s economic record. “Nobody has done what we’ve done in terms of pricing,” he said, taking a veiled swipe at President Joe Biden. “We took over a mess. Now we have normal inflation. We’re going to get it a little bit lower, frankly. We have it almost at the sweet spot. And prices are coming down on different things.”
