DUBLIN — Protests erupted for a second night in Dublin after reports that a 10-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by an Algerian asylum seeker staying at a government-funded migrant accommodation center.
Large crowds gathered outside the Citywest Hotel in Saggart, which currently houses asylum seekers. According to The Telegraph, protesters waved Irish flags and shouted “Get them out” as tensions escalated. Witnesses reported that a police van was set on fire, and some demonstrators attempted to breach police barriers, some carrying makeshift weapons such as garden tools and bottles.

This was in Dublin not long ago at a protest against the rape of a 10 year old girl apparently by a African Migrant.
Police were indiscriminate, attacking anyone and everyone including journalist Ezra Levant and even someone in a wheelchair. Shocking!

Authorities said about 300 Garda officers were deployed to the scene, including mounted units and a dog team. A water cannon was used to disperse the crowd, and at least six arrests were made.
Justin Kelly, Dublin’s police commissioner, said officers faced “sustained violence” during the confrontation. “This was obviously not a peaceful protest,” Kelly stated.
The unrest reflects growing anger among some Irish citizens over immigration policies and the use of hotels to house asylum seekers. The Irish government has not yet released further details regarding the alleged assault, and the investigation into both the incident and the ensuing riots remains ongoing.

President Trump has not yet commented on the situation, but the events in Dublin have sparked renewed debate in Europe over border control, public safety, and the handling of migrant accommodation across the EU.
