National Motto POLL

“In God We Trust” has been the official motto of the United States since 1956, appearing on currency and in many public institutions. Supporters say it honors America’s heritage and moral foundation, while critics — including atheists, secular organizations, and some civil liberties groups — argue that it excludes nonbelievers and violates the separation of church and state. The debate continues over whether the motto should remain as is or be replaced with a more inclusive alternative.
