President Donald Trump is expected to announce Monday that taking Tylenol during pregnancy may increase the risk of autism in children, according to sources familiar with the matter who spoke with The Post.
The upcoming announcement will reportedly include new guidance from the Trump team advising pregnant women to avoid the common over-the-counter pain reliever unless treating a high fever, the sources said.
Additionally, officials are preparing to discuss research into the potential use of leucovorin — a medication typically prescribed for cancer and certain types of anemia — as a possible treatment for autism.

Trump has teased a major announcement related to autism for several days. Speaking on Sunday at the funeral of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, he said, “I think we found an answer to autism. I think it’s going to be one of the most important news conferences I’ll ever have, and I look so forward to it.”
