Three Palestinian men accused of collaborating with Israel were executed in Gaza on Sunday by masked gunmen believed to be affiliated with Hamas, in an incident that drew public attention and international concern.
Footage of the executions, reportedly shared on a Hamas-linked Telegram channel, shows the blindfolded men kneeling before three armed individuals. A fourth man, reading aloud in Arabic, declared that the death sentences were issued under Palestinian revolutionary law for alleged acts of treason.
According to an English translation provided to The Telegraph by the Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA), the statement accused the men of “betraying the homeland” by cooperating with Israeli authorities.

Crowds gathered at the scene can be heard chanting religious slogans, including “Allahu Akbar,” as the executions were carried out. The gunmen then reportedly placed handwritten notes on the bodies, warning that “betrayal will not go unpunished.”
Hamas’ Ministry of Interior later described the executed men as “outlaws” who had collaborated with Israel. Israel Hayom, an Israeli news outlet, reported that members of other Gaza-based militant groups, including Islamic Jihad and the Mujahideen Brigades—both designated terrorist organizations by the United States—were also involved in the incident.

The executions occurred less than 24 hours after Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia announced their formal support for recognizing Palestinian statehood at the United Nations, a move that has faced strong opposition from Israel and the United States.
This is not the first instance of such actions in Gaza this year. In May, Hamas reportedly executed six Palestinians accused of looting humanitarian aid, and shot another 13 in the legs, according to multiple sources.
