Vice President JD Vance announced Sunday that he will host The Charlie Kirk Show from his White House office on Monday, sharing the news in a post on X alongside a photo of his desk outfitted with a microphone. “Please join me as I pay tribute to my friend,” Vance wrote in the caption.
The show, which airs weekdays at noon Eastern on Rumble, was hosted on Friday by a producer and three of Kirk’s close friends, according to The Hill.
Vance has spoken openly about his close friendship with right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed at an event in Utah last week. The Vice President accompanied Kirk’s casket aboard Air Force Two, The New York Post reports.
A memorial service for Kirk was held Sunday night at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. His funeral is scheduled for September 21 in Arizona, according to Fox News.
