Husband’s female friend uses private intel in post insulting wife

Dear TNBD,

Recently, my husband’s female friend posted something on social media that was clearly a veiled insult — and it was unmistakably aimed at me. The post referenced something very personal and private from our marriage, something only a few people would even know about.

I’m absolutely livid. What hurts even more is that my husband is completely brushing it off. He’s making excuses, pretending the post isn’t about me, and refusing to confront her or even acknowledge how inappropriate it was. But I know it was about me — there’s no doubt.

I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but this has crossed a line. I feel betrayed by his friend, but more than that, I feel devastated that my husband won’t stand up for me.

How do I move forward when the person who’s supposed to be in my corner won’t even admit there’s a problem?
