FBI Investigating Annunciation Catholic Church Shooting as Domestic Terrorism and Hate Crime Targeting Catholics – Confirms Transgender Identity and Name Change
Minneapolis, MN — Authorities are investigating a mass shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon at Annunciation Catholic School and Church as both a hate crime and an act of domestic terrorism, according to an update from former federal official Kash Patel.
The FBI confirmed that the suspect, identified as Robin Westman, a 20-something-year-old male who was born Robert Westman, opened fire during a mass being held at the school during its first week back in session.
Two children, aged 8 and 10, were killed in the attack. Fourteen other children and three adults sustained injuries. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara stated that the suspect was armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun.

A manifesto, believed to have been author
ed by the shooter, was posted online prior to the incident. Investigators say it included anti-religious rhetoric and references to previous mass shooters. In one video, Westman is seen with a shooting target depicting religious imagery.
The FBI is treating the case as a targeted attack against the Catholic community. The suspect was reportedly killed during the incident, though officials have not yet released additional details regarding the conclusion of the standoff.
The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say more information will be shared as it becomes available.
