Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Kelley, has accused her stepfather of sexually assaulting her as a child and alleged her mother helped conceal the abuse.
Kelley claimed D.R. Roach — Judd’s former bodyguard and second husband — began molesting her when she was 10, in an interview with The Daily Progress. She recalled telling her mother about the abuse, only for Judd to arrange counseling sessions instead of immediately going to authorities.
“Then when they found out in counseling what he had done to me, they’re like, ‘Wait a minute. We’re going to report this to law enforcement,’” Kelley told the outlet.

Kelley said Roach was arrested in 2007 and later pleaded guilty to criminal attempt to commit aggravated sexual battery, according to the Tennessee sex offender registry.
Now 29, she told the outlet that life in the Judd household contrasted sharply with the family’s public image. While her mother and grandmother, the late Naomi Judd, were celebrated performers and members of the Country Music Hall of Fame, Kelley said her own upbringing was far from glamorous.
