According to a 2023 Pew Research study, about 1 in 3 U.S. adults say they’ve met on a website, and around 12% of adults who have met online have gone on to marry their partner. In fact, studies suggest that nearly 60% of online daters report having developed strong emotional or romantic feelings for someone before meeting in person.
