Come on people. Let’s get these squares filled. We get on average 220 unique visitors per day on TNBD. Sometimes as high as 400+ Let’s fill up 100 squares.
Hello everybody. It’s a real shame that The Detroit Lions will be watching the Superbowl this year like the rest of us, but we can still have fun with the big game. This is our annual SQUARES game. Everyone is welcome to join in and hopefully you can win one of the four quarters. There is NO COST TO ENTER.
For everyone’s benefit, here is how it works. You can see the “grid” with numbered squares, and our community will each pick one of the squares. You will comment below the story and tell us which square you want. Just tell us the number you want. If somebody has picked the square you want, you will see their name instead of the number. You may also want to look at other comments to see if the square you want is already picked but just not updated in the grid yet.
Once all the squares are spoken for, we will randomly select the numbers that go along the top and the left sides of the grid, and those will be zero through nine. If the score of the game at the end of any quarter lines up and points to your square, you win that quarter. We think this concept is very well known to most people so we won’t go on anymore here. If you want a better explanation, just ask in the comments. Somebody will explain it to you. There really is not any advantage for any square in the grid when you are picking. The real odds become known once the numbers are drawn. So if you do not know football or even how squares work, just pick a square. You will be just fine.
