Bank Robbery Suspect’s Tiny Accomplice Had Four Legs And Whiskers
Police in Maryland say a man accused of attempting to rob a bank may have assembled one of the least intimidating criminal crews in recent memory.
According to investigators, the suspect allegedly stole a three-month-old tuxedo kitten named Magnolia from a nearby pet store before carrying the feline into a bank during an attempted robbery.
Authorities eventually took the suspect into custody, while Magnolia emerged from the ordeal completely unharmed.
The kitten’s exact role in the operation remains unclear.

Investigators have not said whether Magnolia was serving as a lookout, a negotiator, or simply providing emotional support during a very bad life choice. Experts agree, however, that kittens generally rank near the bottom of the list when selecting intimidating accomplices.
Witnesses reportedly described Magnolia as adorable, a characteristic that tends to work against most criminal enterprises.
The furry participant was safely recovered and returned without facing any charges, probation, or mandatory kitten rehabilitation classes.
Meanwhile, the human half of the alleged crime team was not nearly as fortunate.
As for Magnolia, she appears to have retired from her brief career in organized crime and is expected to focus full-time on more traditional kitten activities, including napping, chasing imaginary objects, and knocking things off tables.
