Teacher Keeps Job After Allegedly ‘Licking’ Student’s Foot On Video

A high school teacher and coach in Auburn, Washington remains employed despite a video showing him engaging in inappropriate behavior with a student, according to reporting by Seattle radio host Jason Rantz.

The teacher, whose name has not been released, was removed from his position as head coach of the boys soccer team after footage surfaced in March showing him “licking or simulating the licking” of a male student’s foot at a team event during the 2025 season. The Auburn School District confirmed the incident, noting the video came to their attention on March 4, 2026.

“The coach was placed on leave the following day. The district referred the matter to the Office of Professional Practices with OSPI on March 18,” the district told Seattle Red. “Following a human resources investigation, it was determined he will not return as a coach. He remains employed as a certificated staff member. Since this is a personnel matter, no further details will be provided.”

Despite being removed from coaching duties, the teacher continues to work as a math instructor. Reports indicate he has had multiple classroom disruptions and outbursts.

Rantz reported that at least one former student alleged that three years ago, the teacher made repeated inappropriate comments in math class about a family member, using demeaning language toward women while expressing personal anger.

The Auburn School District did not immediately respond to requests for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
