Quadruple amputee cornhole pro Dayton Webber getting by in prison without assistance
Dayton Webber, 27, a quadruple amputee and former Maryland cornhole champion, is reportedly adapting well to life behind bars despite his disability. He is currently held at Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail in Virginia facing murder charges.
According to TMZ, Webber has not required any special accommodations and is managing daily tasks such as feeding, bathing, and dressing himself. Jail superintendent Martin Kumer described him as cooperative and well-behaved, noting that he spends much of his time watching television. Webber reportedly has a semi-functional appendage on one limb, which he uses to handle utensils and maintain personal hygiene—a skill he has also demonstrated in videos handling firearms.

Webber is awaiting extradition to Maryland, where authorities allege he fatally shot his friend Bradrick Michael Wells, 27, while Wells was in the passenger seat of Webber’s car on March 22. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office reports that Webber later left Wells’ body in the yard of a Charlottesville home. He was arrested shortly afterward at a local hospital while seeking treatment for a medical issue.

Despite losing all four limbs to a severe bacterial infection as a child, Webber led an active youth, participating in wrestling, football, and motocross. He later excelled at cornhole, eventually becoming recognized as one of Maryland’s top players.
