FBI Director Kash Patel’s ‘Spiderkash’ Adult Website Account Goes Viral After Iran Email Hack

Posted For: TheGatewayPunditShadowbans

FBI Director Kash Patel is facing online scrutiny after Iranian hackers released material they say was taken from his personal Gmail account, including a username that internet users later connected to an adult website profile.

The group behind the leak, known as the Handala Hack Team and linked to Iran, published a collection of emails, personal photos, and a resume they claim came from Patel’s account. The material appeared online Friday and quickly spread across social media platforms.

Among the information in the leaked files was an email alias that included the name “spiderkash.” The alias was reportedly tied to a burner email account.

Internet users began searching for the same username across different websites. A profile with the name “spiderkash” was later discovered on the adult video website XVideos. According to the profile information visible at the time, the account had been created on January 5, 2020 and had been used to leave comments and reviews on videos.

Authorities confirmed that Patel’s personal email account had been compromised, but officials emphasized that the exposed materials were personal and largely dated. They also stated that no classified or sensitive government information was included in the breach.

Officials have not confirmed whether the “spiderkash” username found on the adult website is connected to Patel.

Despite the uncertainty, screenshots of the profile spread rapidly across the social media platform X, drawing millions of views in a matter of hours. Shortly after the posts began circulating widely, the profile associated with the username became restricted.

The situation began on March 27, when the Handala Hack Team announced that it had successfully accessed Patel’s personal Gmail account. The group then released batches of documents and images online, prompting federal officials to acknowledge the breach.

While the incident initially appeared to be a routine cybersecurity story involving a hacked personal account, attention quickly shifted once the “spiderkash” alias surfaced in the leaked material.

Online users began sharing jokes and memes about the username as the story spread. Posts referencing the name circulated widely, and many social media users started referring to Patel by the nickname.

The FBI and other officials have not released additional details about the leak or about the claims circulating online regarding the username.
