Man Exposes Himself, Rubs His Genitals on Woman’s Ear at Los Angeles Whole Foods Grocery Store
A woman shopping at a Whole Foods store in Valencia, California, was sexually assaulted by a man who exposed himself and made inappropriate contact with her, according to authorities.
The incident took place around 7:45 p.m. on March 23 inside the grocery store. Surveillance footage shows the suspect approaching a woman who was kneeling near the lower shelves while looking at products.
Video captured by the store’s security cameras shows the man unzipping his pants, exposing himself, and rubbing his genitals against the woman’s ear. Investigators say the suspect also appeared to be holding a cellphone during the incident, possibly recording what he was doing.
By the time deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arrived, the suspect had already left the store. The assault, however, had been recorded on the store’s surveillance system.
Authorities describe the suspect as a Middle Eastern or Indian man in his 30s who was wearing a blue denim shirt and jeans at the time of the incident.
