WATCH: Dramatic moment raging bull smashes reveler with flying headbutt
A Peruvian festival turned chaotic when a bull launched a powerful headbutt, knocking a spectator unconscious during the annual “Running of the Bulls” in San José.
The event, held Monday, draws inspiration from the famous Pamplona, Spain, stampedes, with dozens of bulls charging through the streets as crowds watch and dodge the animals.

According to Peruvian broadcaster Latina Noticias, most spectators managed to avoid the bull, but it suddenly struck Cesar del Rio Ganoza head-on, rendering him unconscious. Video shared on X shows panicked onlookers screaming as several men rushed into the street to help Ganoza and carry him out of danger.
Ganoza, believed to be in his 50s, appeared to avoid serious injury and later posted a photo of his face and nose wrapped in bandages while recovering in a hospital. Another festival-goer, 25-year-old Gianluca Monterosso Encomenderos, suffered cuts to his arm and required 20 stitches after being caught in the stampede.
