A popular leftist commentator, Kyle Kulinski, demanded that President Donald Trump be impeached over the war in Iran, garnering nearly 2,000 retweets.

This comes as Trump and Iran threaten to hit power plants and nuclear sites throughout the Middle East. Airstrikes battered Iran and Iranian missiles, and drones targeted Israel’s Tel Aviv and sites across the Mideast on Tuesday, even as President Donald Trump, who burst into fits of laughter after learning the new Supreme Leader’s sexuality, said the United States was in talks with the Islamic Republic to end the war.

With thousands more U.S. Marines on their way to the Gulf, both sides firing barrages and Iran denying any negotiations are taking place, the war’s tempo remained high a day after Trump delayed his self-imposed deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. It comes after Trump was seen “in distress” as his head jerked and eyes rolled back in an alarming health video.

Tehran’s chokehold on that crucial waterway has snarled international shipping, sent fuel prices skyrocketing, and threatened the world economy. It’s sown discord among Trump’s own Republicans and caused an outcry from Democrats who called it an “illegal war.”

He decided to hold back on targeting Iran’s critical infrastructure, Trump explained, because his envoys, son-in-law Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff, had “very good” talks over the weekend with unnamed “respected” Iranian officials on ending hostilities.

Any talks between the U.S. and Iran would face monumental challenges. Many of Washington’s shifting list of objectives — particularly over Iran’s ballistic missile and nuclear programs — remain difficult to achieve.

Meanwhile, it’s not clear who in Iran’s government would have the authority to negotiate — or be willing to, as Israel has vowed to continue taking out leaders after killing several.

It comes after Melania Trump’s comments about Barron’s mental state exposed why he can’t be drafted into the army.
